JJ's Issues - JJ'sDad - 08-18-2016

Hello,
We are new here and would like to thank Louie's mom for helping us through a tough time almost 2 years ago. JJ is an 11 y/o yorkie who has been diagnosed with CIL. We have been on RC Low Fat dry and wet food with sweet potato as his treats. Thanks to this site, we got him stable and has been doing well ever since. JJ has been on prednisone, cyclosporine and B12 shots. We have been getting lower Albumin levels for the past two months. After the first low level our Vet decided to try cyclosporine twice a day. JJ just had another blood test this week and we found that the Albumin dropped again and he lost very little weight (still need to worry).
JJ is not showing any distress, still very playful, swims on a daily basis and plays soccer anytime. He loves his sweet potato since that's the way we administer his meds.
I'm sure our Vet is going to suggest a test, which in turn will cost a fortune.
We are looking for any guidance in helping our little guy. I told our Vet about this site, I hope she has been checking in for any new ideas.
She has been amazing at taking care of JJ and our other yorkie Mimi.

Thank You in advance for any information!
